Bosse FieldThe current home of the Evansville Otters, Bosse Field. Opened in 1915, this field was the first municipally owned sports facility in the United States. Only Boston's Fenway Park and Chicago's Wrigley Field are older than Evansville's Bosse Field.

West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. This week-long event is put on by Evansville's own West Side Nut Club, an organization helping to promote the civic welfare of Evansville. Enjoy free entertainment, carnival attractions, amateur talent competitions and a huge parade on the final day. This event attracts over 150,000 people to the west side in just one week!

Angel Mounds. For over a thousand years, Southwestern Indiana was home to many Native Americans. Today, Angel Mounds State Historic Site is nationally recognized as one of the best preserved prehistoric Native American sites in the United States.

Mesker Park Zoo. This 50-acre park features more than 600 animals, a Children's Enchanted Forest, paddle boats, bumper boats, a tram and the Discovery Center.
