Exploreum - The non-profit Science Center doesn’t just name themselves with complex hybrids of words, they also feature exciting exhibits for patrons of all ages, including the human body taxidermy exhibit, “Our Body: The Universe Within”. If raw biology is a little too much for you, the I-MAX movie theatre and many other exhibits can provide hours of entertainment.
Fort Conde - Originally built by the French to ward off British and Spanish attacks, this replica was built to attract tourists… while providing insightful historical information about the Fort and the city of Mobile.
Battleship USS Alabama - This Military Park is full of wonderful military-type things like the USS Alabama, combat aircraft, tanks and more. View the cockpit of real fighter jets, a Vietnam River Patrol Boat, and while you’re at it, grab a group of actors and perform a scene from Hunt for Red October or another deep-sea war movie as you board the battleship.
