Drury Hotels Announces New Hotel in Joliet, Illinois

Construction is underway at the Drury Plaza Hotel Joliet

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (September 17, 2026)—Drury Hotels, a leading service-oriented hospitality company with more than 150 hotels in 30 states, announces that its newest Drury Plaza Hotel is now under construction at 1351 Gateway Boulevard in Joliet, Illinois.

Located off I-55 near I-80, the Drury Plaza Hotel Joliet is now accepting reservations for August  2027 and beyond. The new hotel puts travelers close to the area’s top attractions, including the Hollywood Casino Joliet, nearby Chicagoland Speedway, Historic Route 66, and downtown Joliet. Guests can also visit Chicago’s Magnificent Mile and world-class shopping, dining, sports, and entertainment, just 45 minutes away.
